Schumann, Robt. / Guarneri, McGregor, Cheng Three Romances Arrangement for Cornet (Trpt) and Piano, these three Romantic works (originally for Oboe or Violin) are transposed down a major third for the Trumpet. Additionally, various phrases have been placed in the piano part to give the Trumpet some relief. The result is quite satisfying and finally brings these beautiful pieces into the repertoire. The audio file below is played by Lertkiat Chongjirajitra, Principal Trumpet of the Bangkok Symphony and Trumpet/Brass lecturer: Silpakorn University Faculty of Music. He is Director of the Bangkok Silpakorn Wind Orchestra and a Yamaha Artist/Thailand.
