Originally arranged in the 1970s, Balquhidder Music published them in 1992 and they have enjoyed a loyal fan base ever since. Four or five established quintets have recorded them in whole or in part and many people report looking forward to each Christmas Season that includes playing and/or hearing them.
Out-of-the-box harmonies and some jazz-inspired counterpoint mark these arrangements as fresh and interesting. A unique addition to every quintet’s Christmas music folder contents.
